Sunday Assembly Newcastle

A secular community which celebrates life, living by the Sunday Assembly motto: Live Better, Help Often, Wonder More.

Our fun family-friendly events are run by volunteers and have a new theme each month, ranging from Stargazing to Letters to Myself. Each Assembly has an interesting talk, singalong pop songs, a kids’ story (written and read by the kids!), community action and more.

We are an inclusive organisation. Everyone is welcome, from any walk of life or belief system (or lack thereof!) – we welcome all who welcome all.

For regular updates, sign up to our newsletter here, and subscribe to alerts from our Facebook page. You can also follow us on Twitter @SunAssemblyNCL. Or, better yet, come along to our next Assembly!

We meet the second Sunday of every month at Alphabetti Theatre, St James’ Boulevard, Newcastle upon Tyne.

Doors 11.30am, Assembly midday till 1pm. After that, enjoy social time with cakes from our pay-what-you-like cafe, while the kids take part in story club.

Entry is free, with an optional donation which keeps Assemblies running.

#HelpOften: at each Assembly we collect longlife food and spare clothes for local charities and food banks. Please bring what you can spare!
